February 28th marks Fay and Eden's 10 month birthday! I don't know where the time has gone (so cliché, I know, but so true).
This past Sunday, Eden said her first word (apart from 'mama' and 'dada'). She said 'bye' 'bye bue' and she waved when she said it too. I think she was pretty proud of herself. I know Josh and I sure were. We were looking at our smiley little chickelettes and we were beaming from ear to ear. I'm trying not to sound corny, but there's no words to describe the amount of joy and pride and love that we feel for our daughters. There's not a feeling in the world quite like it. They mean everything to us.
Stay tuned for some big news! I've been patiently waiting to spill the beans on this one, but I need to wait just a tad longer, til all our ducks are in a row. Some of you have probably heard already (and no I am NOT pregnant again) ...stay tuned!

Ah, back so soon? Just forgot to mention a couple of pretty big things...
Fay has been sleeping in her own bed for about 3 weeks now! And all night long! This is a rather big deal, as the girls have been sleeping in our room for the past 9 months..aha.. I love holding my babies all the time and this has caused the chickelettes to be used to falling asleep only by cuddles and by nursing. Eden is getting worse i think. She wakes up the moment she's put down. Sigh. We'll be sleep training her soon.

Operation Exporation
Commitment: a pledge or promise; obligation:
Today i am committing to writing on my blog more often. Once a week. Yes, that's what i said. Once a week. Let's see how i do, shall we?
Well our darling chickellettes are just over 9 months old now. Getting so big. It's crazy. It is so fun to watch them learn new things and explore. They are both crawling like pros and stand up while holding on furniture or the wall or us or anything stationary. Eden started the teething process and Fay followed shortly after, they both have 2 bottom teeth. They like to explore in the kitchen, under the dishwasher, between the bar stools, and over to the stairs. Thankfully Josh made us a stair gate. Everything goes to their mouth...magnets, rocks, dust bunnies, keeping a clean house is not my forte, unfortunately, but i'm working on it.
Fay has been doing the most adorable little thing ever! Josh will get on his hands and knees and say, "i'm gunna get cha!" and little Fay just laughs and laughs and crawls away as fast as she can- soooo cute! Eden is still making some hilarious noises, her dolphin sounds and her dinosaur sounds. These little angels melt my heart every day, i can't thank Heavenly Father enough for sending them to us. We feel sooooo blessed and are enjoying being parents- it is SO rewarding.
