St. Maarten
Well lots to report in this blog. Josh flew to St. Maarten
Monday morning to get us… some wheels! We are now the owners of a 2003 jeep
wrangler... goldish in color. And I am the owner of one excited hubby! Haha. I
am also excited to have some wheels. And I’m sure that our neighbors are
excited to be relieved of their chauffeuring service. We are so grateful for
the Tolmans and their willingness to help us out so much! We will miss them
when they leave in 6 weeks.
Josh’s St. Maarten trip was not limited to bringing a jeep
home, but he also brought home some goodies from Cost-U-less, a Costco like
store. He got car seats for the girls so they can be nice and safe while I’m
driving. –not that I’m a bad driver, haha, but because they don’t quite have
the discipline to sit and stay sitting in a moving vehicle just yet. (There’s
no seatbelt or car seat law here) Safety first! Josh also brought home a few
toys for the girls. He got the girls
each a little baby doll. They love walking around with them and have learned to
say, ‘baby.’ What I find interesting and so cute is the different way that Eden
and Fay say baby. Fay says. “bah-bah’ and Eden says, “bee-bee.’ So cute!
Earth Quake and Waves
So on July 4th while we were eating dinner, our
house began to shake a bit. We felt the tremors from the earthquake in
Anguilla, which was a 5.2. This was Josh’s first time feeling an earthquake. It
was exciting. Haha. At the beach the next day, the waves were huge! I think the
earthquake had something to do with that.
